The Construction & Built Environment Marketing Network is delighted to welcome Libby Zbaraska as our Editor at Large – a new role created to help shape editorial direction, spark conversation across the sector, and bring new voices, ideas and energy into the Network.
Libby is the founder of Eazy Comms, a strategic marketing and communications consultancy working across construction, engineering, technology and the wider built environment. With a background that spans regional journalism, in-house roles and senior agency positions, including Client Services Director, she brings more than a decade of experience shaped by one constant: a passion for turning complex challenges into clear, creative and commercially meaningful communications.
As Editor at Large, Libby will play a key role in shaping the Network’s growing editorial programme, helping to surface the ideas, people and perspectives shaping the future of marketing in the built environment. Her interview series, Leading Voices, will spotlight the thinkers, leaders and practitioners driving change, from marketers and CEOs to industry advocates and emerging talent. Each conversation explores how marketing has evolved over the past 25 years, what “good” looks like today, and what needs to change for the sector to thrive in the decade ahead.
Alongside Leading Voices, Libby will play a central role in developing the Network’s content, supporting its transition to a more open, media-first platform and helping to ensure it remains relevant, useful and engaging for its growing audience. She will also continue her involvement in the CMA Awards programme, including hosting interviews and capturing insight from industry leaders.
For Libby, the role represents a natural progression. The CMA Awards have been part of her journey since the early days of her career – a place, as she puts it, “where competitors celebrate one another’s work, where marketers feel seen, and where the industry’s creativity comes to life.” Taking on the role of Editor at Large is, in her words, “an enormous honour.”
With her trademark candour, insight and enthusiasm, Libby will help define the next chapter of the CBE Marketing Network as it evolves into a leading platform for marketing insight across the built environment.
